Oh.. how I love to work on the last minute, don't you?

I'm currently starting to make a golden sequined dress for a very stubborn client that wants to wear something sparkling on New Year's Eve, so basically she's forcing me to work as fast as I can to have it ready by then.

I would have never agreed on making any type of garment with less than a week notice, but since this client is one of my favorite people in the world (my sister), I had to.

Do you like my design?

It's kind of a simple, basic shape with an open back detail, but the fabric is just amazing, super shiny golden sequins. I'll make sure to take a photo of her when she wears it so you can get a peek of my finished work.

Actualmente estoy a penas empezando a hacer un vestido de lentejuelas doradas para una clienta muy insistente que desea usar algo brillante en la víspera de Año Nuevo, y quiere que yo trabaje lo más rápido que pueda para tenerlo listo para entonces.

Jamás habría accedido a hacer cualquier tipo de prenda con menos de una semana de anticipación, pero ya que dicho cliente es una de mis personas favoritas en el mundo (mi hermana), tenía que hacerlo.

¿Les gusta mi diseño?

Es un corte simple y básico, con detalle de espalda abierta, pero la tela es simplemente increíble, súper brillantes lentejuelas doradas. Me aseguraré de tomar una foto de ella cuando se lo ponga para que puedan echar un vistazo de mi trabajo terminado.

When it comes to deciding what to wear, it usually means "what will I make for myself to wear?", since I make 95% of my clothes.. and I'm the most difficult client I have 'cause I want it all! ...this year, I think I'm gonna go for the sequined maxi skirt I've been drooling over from the very first moment I saw the photo above in one of Nasty Gal's lookboks. Isn't it divine?

Cuando se trata de decidir qué me voy a poner, por lo general significa "¿qué me voy a hacer?", Ya que hago el 95% de mi ropa .. y yo soy el cliente más difícil que tengo porque lo quiero todo! ... este año, creo que voy a optar por la falda maxi de lentejuelas, he estado babeando por esas desde el primer momento en que vi la foto (de arriba) en uno de los lookboks de Nasty Gal. ¿No es divina?
