Finally I'm here, in Playa del Carmen; and must say the first 24 hours were hard... sufficient to say, the airline lost my luggage... my super packed luggage with all my clothes, shoes, bathroom and make-up stuff, underwear, towels, perfume, jewels and accessories, I mean..everything was there! I left nothing at home, I decided to spend a year here so of course I brought it all...and they lost it!
Luckily, just now.. someone rang the bell and it was a guy sent from the airline with my luggage... God exists... I swear, I spent the entire night crying... I came here with a lot of determination but zero cash, honestly..I'm pulling off a kind of hippie lifestyle here...so of course I had a nervous meltdown at the airport..but it's all good now.. I'm good.
I'll keep you posted for more stuff once I'm settled, just wanted to give you a heads up on my situation and share some inspirational photos that influenced my decision into drastically changing my life.

ivette, i am sooo sooo glad they found your luggage. that had to be the worst. now whenever something unpleasant happens you can say, at least i didn't lose my luggage. ;) did i tell you how proud i am to know you? well i am. go off & conquer!
